A to Z Challenge: G is for Gratitude

I was thinking about what my topic for today should be and I will admit that I was struggling. All I could think about was that I wished my giveaway winner had been announced today because giveaway begins with a G. But while I was eating my lunch, I sat down and really thought about what I could do for the letter G and it came to me. G is for Gratitude.

I have been feeling very thankful for many things lately. While I have been struggling emotionally with my return to work, I'm thankful that I have a job that I enjoy and that helps me provide for my family. Even though I didn't get to exclusively breastfeed as I had hoped to do, I'm thankful that my son is healthy and not too picky when it comes to eating! When I hear stories of ill children or babies who have passed away, I am thankful for the blessing of W in my life. I am also thankful for the tremendous amount of love that is present in my life. I could go on for quite awhile and thinks of a hundred things I am thankful for but the point is that I have a deep gratitude for all of the blessings in my life.

Sometimes it is important to stop and remember everything that I have to be thankful for right now. It can get lost in the chaos of the busy day, but in the morning on my way to work and at the end of the day as I crawl into bed, I always try to remember these things.

  1. Beautiful. Without gratitude our days all blend together. To make sense of them we need to impliment gratitude. I sure can see why your sweet baby is on your list!
